A sweet tooth and the love for creating homemade gourmet desserts was the beginning of Delight’s Desserts. Owner, Chef D, has over 30 years of experience orchestrating culinary feats, including superb wedding events, parties and catered affairs.

Born in Atlanta, GA, Chef D started where most southern cooks start, in his mother’s kitchen. With guidance from Ernestine, an excellent cook in her own right, Chef D was destined to succeed.

His talent flourished as he was consequently employed as a cake decorator and bakery manager for 12 years. Over time, a craving developed to expand his knowledge for the business and culinary talent. Enhancing his natural talent he completed courses at Wiltons School of Decorating, Concord Academy, and American Institute of Baking. Chef D was certified as a Master Baker in 2001.

Chef D has proved to be a highly skilled pastry chef with a passion of combining southern flavors and unique techniques to create edible works of art.
